No matter what your reasons for starting your Pilates journey, private lessons are a great place to start. Just you and your Pilates instructor in a private space away from other clients, working together to reach your fitness goals.
What to expect
1:1 private lessons consist of a postural assessment, getting to understand your lifestyle and how Pilates can fit into your life, and tailored exercises to suit your body's needs.
You'll perform a sequence of Pilates exercises while your trainer cues you towards correct form, breath and alignment. Progress is marked on your client record at each session to keep track of your development and help you set new goals as needed.
In a private session your trainer may use a variety of props such as resistance bands, blocks, Pilates circle, Swiss ball and Medicine balls to assist you in reaching proper form and to challenge you physically depending on your personal goals.
How do I book?
To schedule your first private lesson, call Alexis on 07708 695461 so we can find a time that works for your schedule and to discuss your needs and goals. If this is your first lesson, please plan to be around 10 minutes early to complete a new client registration form.
Please wear form fitting, stretchy, comfortable clothing that enables you to move easily and allows your trainer to see your posture and alignment.
If you need to cancel a private lesson, please give at least 24 hours notice or you will be subject to payment of the full session fee.
Private lessons cost £15 per hour - discounts can be offered for block bookings.
